In 1982, Steve Way sold his first cartoon to Punch. It was a drawing Since then, Steve’s work has appeared internationally in magazines and newspapers including Private Eye, The New Yorker and The Guardian. He was sports cartoonist for The Financial Times. Steve has twice been Cartoon Editor of Punch. He was Cartoon Editor In 1992 he launched and edited The Cartoonist, a weekly national broadsheet, with the design group Newell and Sorrell. Steve has produced a number of cartoon strips, including Generation Y (with Tony Reeve) for The Independent newspaper: Alastair (with Jonatahn Pugh) in The Times, and Off Our Trolley (with Tony Reeve) for Private Eye. Among other current projects, Steve is a regular contributor to The Oldie. He is based in London and occasionally Moscow. He keeps a visual diary and is still waiting for his Vogue moment.
